How to Create a Website for Free and Fast?

Websites can be used to market just about any product. You can create a website for personal reasons or for business reasons; making a basic site can be done in a matter of minutes. To create a website, you will need a host site to serve as your base. Many different Web entities can act as a host for your page.

Figure out what you would like your site to consist of. Think about what color scheme would you like to use, what topics you want to feature, the layout and what you want the name of your website to be.

Find a website creator site. Popular ones include Wordpress.org, Blogger.com and Webs.com, whose links can be found in Resources.

Create a user name and password and download applicable software. Each free website host will require you to fill out a brief application. You will be required to provide your name and email address.

Fill out and submit the sign-up requirements for the website. You will be sent a confirmation to your email address. Many website hosts will provide you with all of the basics you need to create your own cool website. You will be able to fill out different fields to insert your own text. This can be easily done by simply clicking on one of the empty text boxes that appears on the screen. Type your desired text. You may also change your text font and color or use photographs from the Internet or from your computer by clicking on the photo button on the site. This will give you the option of either uploading a photo from your computer or entering a URL to a photo from the Internet. You can edit the photographs by double-clicking them.

Press the "Publish" button at the bottom of your Web page after you are satisfied with your results. You can press the "View" button to see what your site looks like to the public. If you are not satisfied, you can press the "Edit" button to make changes. Make sure to press the "Save" button afterward. Make note of the URL for your site to tell others about it. and do not forget to update your site frequently...;))
